What is Life Change University?

Life-Change University is a program of short-term seminars offered on a university style semester schedule designed to help believers accelerate their spiritual growth and/or develop as leaders.

The Four Areas:

Each semester classes are offered from four basic areas:

  • Spiritual Formation - focused on growing your relationship with God
  • Leadership Development - focused on developing current and future leaders in ministry
  • Bible/Theology - focused on giving both overview and in-depth study of the Bible and core beliefs
  • Life Application - focused on applying scriptural principles to the core areas of life

Core Curriculum

A core set of classes has been developed for each area based on the content we feel to be most essential.  Through this we hope to give every participant a deep and well-rounded experience as well as the option to focus on a particular area of choice.

Semester Schedules

Each year, there will typically be four semesters offered: Fall (Sep-Nov), Early Spring (Jan-Mar),
Late Spring (Mar-May), and occasionally Summer (Jun-Aug).

Length of Courses

Courses vary in length. Most courses are 4-6 weeks, but may take longer to complete (6-8 weeks) based on holidays and other interruptions. Some special courses run as long as 13 weeks.

Cost

There is typically a small cost for materials for each course. The average range for each course is $10-$20. Some courses may be significantly more expensive based on the cost of the materials (e.g. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University). The cost of these materials is outside of our control although we do pursue every available method to keep costs to a minimum.

The Logo

Most of the New Testament was written in ancient Greek. The Z-Triangle-X on the logo are actually Greek letters: Zeta, Delta, and Kai. The letter Zeta (the "Z") corresponds to the New Testament word for life- "Zoe". The Delta (triangle) is used in science as a symbol for change. The Kai (the "X") corresponds to the New Testament word for Christ- "Xristos". So, the symbol is more than just meant to look like a Greek organization that you would see in a university, it literally represents Life Change in Christ.
