Lowrey and his wife Deborah have three grown children, Jonathan, Jennifer, and Jo-Catherine. They also have 5 grandchildren. Lowrey has been serving at Bear Creek since 1984 and oversees all of the operations, facilities, and financial ministries. He is a graduate of Louisiana College (B.A.) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A.).
